A parrticular queen
Lockkäck lintott?
A lock of hair cut from Henry VIII's last wife, Catherine Parr, has recently been sold at an auction for 2160 pounds. The happy buyer, Charles Hudson, currently lives at Wyke Manor, the mansion that was presented to the queen as her wedding gift. The lock probably originates from the opening of the coffin by John Locust in 1782, when he discovered the royal remains in the ruins of St. Mary's Chapel at Sudeley Castle. If you just discovered this page, there is still the possiblity to participate in Klurendrejeriet® 2008, but hurry up - we need you answer no later than January 22, 2008!
