Dagens fråga är delvis ny, men titeln har faktiskt förekommit en gång tidigare (i Klurendrejeriet® 2005). Då söktes en middag som serverades för första gången knappt hundra år tidigare eller idag nästan exakt 102 år sedan. Dessutom i Klurendrejeriet® mini [2006], fanns den snarlika titeln DEN PRISVÄRDA MÅLTIDEN (IS SAKNAS EJ) Den gången gällde det att känna igen menyn som serverades ombord samma kväll som det kända fartyget RMS .....i. sjönk.

The question today is somewhat new, but the title has appeared once before (in Klurendrejeriet® 2005 [without English translation]). That time, we were looking for a meal that was serves close to a hundred years before, or almost exactly 102 years ago today. Furthermore, in the also not-yet-translated Klurendrejeriet® mini [2006], the more-than-similar title THE SUMPTUOUS DINNER (IS NOT MISSING) appeared, where the menu listed had been served onboard the same night as the famous ship RMS .....i. sunk.

Förberedelser (Preparations)

Just nu pågår de allra sista förberedelserna inför Klurendrejeriet® 2008. Men innan tävlingens frågor ger sig till känna, finns det just nu andra frågor som väntar på sina svar. Vilket är årets tema? Hur många frågor blir det i år? Och vilka priser kommer att erbjudas? Vi vågar lova att det blir något alldeles speciellt! Right now the last preparations for Klurendrejeriet® 2008 are underway. But before the riddles come out in the open, other questions still wait to be answered. What is the theme this year? Klurendrejeriet® mini avslutad/closed!

Nu har Klurendrejeriet® mini stängt för i år. Antalet inkomna svar ökade med 17 procent jämfört med motsvarande tävling i fjol! Framförallt ökade antalet tyska bidrag avsevärt tack vare samarbetet med det tyska frågesportsforumet MeMaC. Med hjälp av inlämningsomröstningen ni kan se här till höger, kan ni på ett ungefär lista ut era vinstchanser. Tävlingens samtliga svar, priser och vinnare kommer naturligtvis att redovisas inom kort här på Klurbloggen, i det kommande numret av Ultunesaren och på Ultunesarens hemsida.


A forum for u & me!

Klurendrejeriet® mini has now closed for this year. The number of answers increased by 17 per cent compared to the same contest last year! First and foremost there was a dramatic increase in the number of German answers, much thanks to the cooperation with the German quiz forum MeMaC. By looking at the submission survey to the right, it is possible to get a grip on your chance of winning. A complete list of answers, prizes, and winners will naturally be given here on Klurbloggen, in the upcoming issue of Ultunesaren and the homepage of the magazine.

Att hantera ilska (Anger management)

Är du frustrerad över att du inte har löst någon gåta i Klurendrejeriet® mini än? Det är ännu ingen fara på taket, men här kommer lite tips på hur man skall tänka för att hantera ilskan:

i) läs gåtan noggrant och se om det ringer någon klocka [dock ej Big Ben, eftersom den renoveras för närvarande - se bild nedan],
ii) skriv ner alla tankar du kan koppla till titeln, texten, bilderna och de ledtrådar som ges där,
iii) kolla igenom Klurbloggen för extra ledtrådar [regelbundna sammanställningar ges den första i varje månad för minitävlingen, hittills maj/juni och juli],
iv) gå in på Ultunesarens hemsida och kolla in vad som efterfrågats i tidigare versioner av tävlingen eller försök lösa någon av exemplen givna under titeln Flashback! [fullständiga lösningar finns på hemsidan, medan alla Flashback!-meddelanden försöker återskapa stämningen från tidigare jular] och
v) fråga dina mentala bollplank om de har kommit någonvart och resonera er fram (för du löser väl inte ensam?)!
vi) slit inte ut dig - de stora priserna kommer ju först i Klurendrejeriet® 2008 (medan vinnarna i denna tävling får nöja sig med något mycket mindre)!

Are you still frustrated that you have not been able to solve any of the questions in Klurendrejeriet® mini yet? There is still plenty of time, but here are a few hints on how to proceed and thus manage the anger:

i) read the question carefully and check to see if there are any bells ringing [it will not be Big Ben, however, since it is currently being restored - see above],
ii) write down all thoughts you can tie to the title, text, pictures and the clues given,
iii) check Klurbloggen for extra clues [recaps are offered regularly on the first of every month, so far May/June and July]
iv) go to the homepage of Ultunesaren and see what has been used before in previous versions of the contest or try to solve any of the Flashback! posts [complete solutions are available on the homepage, whereas the Flashback! posts have none to try to recapture the mood of X-Mases past], and
v) ask your bounce people if they have reached any conclusions and try to reason your way to a solution (because you are not doing this by yourself, are you?)!
vi) do not overdo it - the really nice prizes will be offered in Klurendrejeriet® 2008 (and the winners in this version will receive only minor ones)
