The assassination of John F. Kennedy November 22, 1963 was an event of drastic proportions, making most of America (and large parts of the world) come to a complete stop. The murder scene is commonly referred to Dealey Plaza, but the road the motorcade turns in on just prior to the shots is indeed the end of Elm Street. The film on which most of the timing is tied to was shot by Abraham Zapruder, a women's clothing manufacturer and amateur photographer.
