Harni hört? (Arn't you Swedish?)

Före 1998 kopplades de ihopskrivna bokstäverna arn förmodligen främst ihop med ARN, IATA-flygplatskoden för Arlanda, samma fiffigt inkluderade kod i FlygbussARNa eller möjligtvis Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN). Men sedan Jan Guillou skrev sin romantrilogi om den fiktiva Arn Magnusson av Folkungaätten har dessa fått underordnad betydelse i dagligt tal. Idag har dessutom den första Arn-filmen premiär i Skara, medan stora delar av landet får vänta till julafton. Om någon blir missnöjd, kan de ju alltid vända sig till ARN så cirkeln sluts eller varför inte sätta tänderna i Klurendrejeriet® 2008?

Before 1998, the three-letter combination arn was primarily connected with ARN, the IATA airport code for Stockholm-Arlanda airport, the same code included in the airport shuttle FlygbussARNa or possibly the National Board for Consumer Complaints (ARN). But since Jan Guillou wrote his trilogy about the fictitious Arn Magnusson of the House of Folkung all these have ended up in a subordinate position in everyday life. Today, the first of the Arn movies premières in the city of Skara, while most other parts of Sweden have to wait until X-Mas Eve. If someone finds serious flaws in the movie, they could always turn to ARN to rectify the situation and complete the circle. Or how about try to solve Klurendrejeriet® 2008?
