Det första helt automatiska mobiltelefonnätet NMT (Nordisk mobiltelefoni) släcks ner någon gång imorgon i Sverige, villket gör att den första generationens telefoner blir oanvändbara. Med tjugosex år på nacken är livslängden avsevärt längre än en telefon hos dagens ombytliga mobiltelefonanvändare som byter modell så fort en ny kommer ut. I huvudsak sägs den andra generationens telefonsystem (GSM, Groupe Spécial Mobile) täcka det snart nedlagda systemet ytmässigt, med vissa skillnader främst ute till havs. Rör sig Klurendrejeriet® 2008 sig också där ute?

The first fully automatic mobile phone network, NMT (Nordisk mobiltelefoni), will be shut down sometime tomorrow, which means that the first generation of mobile phones will become useless. With twenty-six years but no longer counting, the lifespan of the system is much longer that of a phone in the the modern ever-changing society where many mobile phone users switches models as soon as a new one comes out. In principle the second generation mobile phone network, GSM (Groupe Spécial Mobile), will cover the soon-to-be-shut-down one area-wise, with some minor differences mainly asea. Is Klurendrejeriet® 2008 also in that area?
